We make IMPACT

Before I joined IEOM, I was in the world and of the world. I was internally housing trauma that I have yet to deal with. Growing up  with an inconsistent father which then invited a spirit of attachment, rejection, people pleasing, bitterness and so much more. As an adult, I thought I had dealt with those feelings and emotions but once I joined IEOM I soon recognized I haven’t. We started meeting every Tuesday and it was a space that allowed me to be vulnerable and tell my truth. It was also a space where sisterhood holds each other accountable and helps face our challenges head on. What I didn’t know would happen was that I found sisters in Christ who will help me see how much our God truly loves us even in our MESS. Over time I fell in love with Jesus and decided to give my life to Christ October 4th, 2023. After giving God my “Yes” soon I would find what God has called me to do. Pastor Ty already told me I was called into Evangelism and God confirmed it twice!  So I gave God my “Yes” again! This ministry is truly like no other and I dare anyone to join because your life will never be the same. 

I love you with the love of Christ!

What has this ministry done for me, where do I begin? This ministry gave me strength when I thought I had none left. At a time when I lost everything that I thought I loved Pastor Ty and this ministry gave me strength. I can honestly say that I’m a lot to handle, I don’t always make the best decisions, and I definitely haven’t always done the right things but this beautiful group of ladies gave me a place to call home when I was abandon but those who I thought loved me. Losing lifelong relationships that you trusted is one of the most hurtful feelings in the world. Opening your life or home to people that you trust to love you like you love them and they torn their backs on you is devastating. I was introduced into this ministry because I supported someone’s walk and ended up being a part of a family because God knew when I was going to need them and without judgement. It’s hard to be you and not be judged for being different. IMPACT Ministry has given me a place to call home and be safe. They’ve watched me progress into a maturing woman who sometimes stumbles but always has a positive word or encouraging prayer to get me through the most difficult of times. Pastor Ty has been one of the most genuine souls I’ve met and without her love, prayers, and words of support I promise you I wouldn’t be here today. Today I approach life and its obstacles differently. I am more trusting of the path God has for me to walk. I still falter but I know that God has me. I have learned these lessons from our ministry and the diverse group that we have. Although we have new experiences we’ve seen so much and are here to uplift each other no matter the storm. THIS HERE is an amazing ministry and I pray that God continues to have His way in building it up the way He wants it to go. Impact defined by Jack Cohen, published in Ascent Publication:  The resulting effect, positive or negative, that the actions we take have to change the physical or mental state of others around us-and therefore have the power to change the gurure path of an individual or group.

IEOM has super exceeded this definition.  We are God fearing sisterhood.  We are called to make the difference.  We allow God to flow through us and use us to birth ministries that will take the attention off of us but glorify him.  We uplift, support, pray and encourage one another.  We minister to ourselves and each other on a daily basis.  We pray, cry and worship together and as individuals.  We minister to those who are lost without judgement.  We accept those with open arms by allowing them to thrive and be the most purest and authentic self.

Many will not understand our mission and why we were chosen by God to take this journey together as a unit.  We strive daily to lead by example and let God use us so that God gets all the Glory and Praise.  Impact has helped me rebuild and heal the broken areas of my life.  It has helped me minister, testify and celebrate all that God has in store for me and my sisters.  I have shared and shedded some of my past trauma.  My Impact sister's have prayed for me through!!!  We are a unique Women Lead Christian Organization.  A sisterhood that will make an Impact on God's Kingdom.  Uplifting and spreading God's word.

We are Impact Sister's for life.  Impact Ministry that is ready to make an Impact on our Community and World.

I’ve only been apart of this ministry for a short time, however it has been a light in my dark life. Being apart of a group of women who love and live unapologetic while embracing all that God has and gives is refreshing and reassuring. For a long time depression had me feeling alone and deserted. These ladies has since changed that stigma. My depression doesn’t sit..it doesn’t weigh on me. This village has been my saving grace. I’m late to the party but I’m glad I decided to take the chance because it has filled me with more love than I know what to do with.
